Just One More.....Bag

I have a love-hate relationship with these perfectly wonderful/evil pillows of succulence. Yes, I love these Reese's Peanut Butter eggs. EVERY year I fall victim to them. I can't pass them by. I THINK I'll be able to control my ability to eat them. But...in reality, I cannot. So I HATE that they control me. What is it about these tasty eggs? I don't fall victim to the other Reese's holiday treats. It's just the eggs. Those glorious abominations.

I had lunch with Monnik today (yay for sushi) and after mentioning my desire to escape this confection's peanut buttery clutches, she suggested I try to picture something gross on them to trigger some aversion. So...I'll try thinking about spiders crawling all over them....

....after I finish these last two in the bag.

"wonderful/evil pillows of succulence"

Bwahahah! That's funny. Think of spiders, centipedes, cockroaches, and slugs (shudder) sleeping on those pillows.

When I was a teenager, we opened a Butterfinger and actually found small weevils inside. True story. Of course this was before the days when you automatically camera phone something like that and send it to your lawyer for litigation. Otherwise I would have died from stuffing myself to death on my lifetime supply of Butterfingers from the settlement.

Also, Webgal, I didn't want to say this on my blog, but I am leaving Fitness World West at the end of the month. It's nothing against them, but they chose not to renew my endorsement deal. I still say that if you are looking for a place that is serious about working out or an amazing trainer, FWW and Traci fit the bill.

As for me, I will be nomadic until I can find something else. But mark my words, I MUST find a gym. I am letting work look for me first though.

Ms_H: That's too bad they didn't renew your endorsement deal! I was at Prairie Life all of last year. I really do like that place. It has every amenity a person could want, but the price is a tad high if you don't actually USE those amenities. And considering I was paying all that money to not go there, I quit my membership.

For me it's Peeps. I can eat a million.

This probably sounds gross, and maybe eating-disorder-ish, but I do this sometimes. Chew them for a few seconds and spit them out. It still tastes good, but you don't get all the calories, and spitting them out will probably gross you out enough to help you be done with that demon.

webmom: I do like the cadbury eggs as well, but I can resist them.

annette: You're probably not going to believe this, but I've never had a peep. And yes, your plan does sound a tad on the eating disordery side, but whatever works! I wonder how many calories are actually consumed that way...

A person has to really love marshmallows to love a Peep. But you can have a whole row for 2 points. Melty sugary goodness.
