I'm going to share a little secret of mine. This time of year is crappy with the cold and (constant) snow beating our moods down and making us long for the warmth of Spring or reminisce of the wonderful crunchiness of Fall.
But I have one tiny little thing that makes those sad dreary, snowy days a little better. I love to kick the snow chunks from the wheel wells and mud flaps of cars. Weird, huh? It's so bad I have to restrain myself when I see other people's cars with big piles of snow built up there that haven't been kicked (or melted) off. I sooo want to kick that snow off. It calls me to me, it pleads with me to do it and get that strange little thrill when I hear that "ka-thunk" sound when it falls off (or when I kick it).
So now you know my hidden little secret.

Well - I actually think that you are performing a public service !!
You could actually set up your own business being a "Professional mud flap kicker" and earn yourself a fortune or get yourself a boyfriend with a big truck !
I googled it and found a web site dedicated to mudflaps - how sad is that!! One of the posts were the trials and tribulations of problems caused by snow in Iceland on mudflaps - the weight of which breaks them - see an extract below !

Belive it or not, but we up here in Frosted Iceland have this mud flap
problems in deep snow... The snow keeps tearing them off.
You wanted a new career move - something that you enjoy doing - you've found the answer !! x
I bet it'd burn a few calories too!
you are such a doof. that is an odd compulsion.
that's why I kept it secret. :)
ok so as time goes by i find more and more things that we have in common...i find myself trying to refrain from kicking the snow off ours just so that the snow will build up more and ill have a bigger chunk to knock off....and yes i do kick chunks off other peoples cars....ha ha i said it out loud!!!!! yes!!!
i also like to hear the crunching when i back over the chunks with the car
