Today is Earth Day. But for me it's also exactly a year since I had to put my cat Del to sleep. I remember that day all too vividly.
As much as I adore the two cats I got this year, I still miss "my bubba."

Del was a special cat, no doubt. He had a special person taking care of him also. No one else would have gave him such a special home with unconditional love.
Sorry that you're having a sad day today - thinking of you and sending over a hug from across the water x
I can't even imagine. I hope I get bereavement time for that when it happens.
thanks everybody...it is amazing how much a pet means and how easy you can just overlook that. Sure, some people think they're "just animals" but those animals seem to provide something that people just don't.
