My latest dental experience

Today I went to get a cavity filled at the dentist. My dentist is speedy. She got me all numbed up and away we went. Time I entered until the time I left: 30 minutes. As I drove home I felt the weirdness of having part of my face number from the Novocaine. I touched my cheek and upper lip. I ran my tongue around my mouth noting the different sensations and borderlines.

Then my nose itched, so I scratched it and found the right half was on the borderline of being numb too. Interesting that it travels so far. I glanced in the mirror to make sure my mouth was actually closed on the right side and did a double take. My right nostril had kind of "collapsed" with the numbness. It's pretty funny. One is half the size of the other.

I wonder how long it'll last...
